Pete Bengry

Pete Bengry has been playing percussion for over 35 years and practising classic shamanism for over 25 years. He is considered adept in his field and teaches worldwide. Having committed his entire life to mastering the drum and percussion he achieved number one status in the U.K. charts with the song ‘Brimful of Asha’ with the band Cornershop. He is currently travelling New Zealand and would love to share his knowledge and skills in the country he loves.

Description of the performance:
Shamanism had been practiced fir thousands of years. The drum is the primary instrument used by shamans internationally. This tool refined and supports the shaman to enter an altered state of consciousness where healing is received and delivered. Pete Bengry offers a unique opportunity to experience the shamanic journey as a sound healing. With years of experience and expertise he will guide you into a deep state of relaxation where you receive healing and then guide you back with that healing
