Leo H Barrer / Weave

Leo Barrer has performed at festivals and nightspots around Aotearoa for the last decade. He recently collaborated with Sharon Ware as The Honeysmiths, releasing an album, Darkness/Light in 2014. He has been performing locally with June Fallen and Toshi Phillips as Weave in irregular bursts since 2010. Their music, based around Leo’s original songs, feature guitar and cajon, harmonies, humour, and is best described as New Zealand urban folk. Or maybe, not described at all, just listened to.
