Carolyn Hughes

After many years working internationally in media, business and government Carolyn finally twigged that this was not the way to save the world.
10 years ago she left her diplomatic job in Beijing and set up on 6 acres of hard clay in Tasman after studying permaculture, organics and biodynamics for courage.
The land is now giving back in spades. Carolyn also works at Nelson Environment Centre on clean energy and food security and is a co-founder of The Land Trust NZ.
