Beauty and the Beats is the culmination of Taranaki-based Hagmann’s tireless work over recent years to create a unique, globalised electronica that welds expertly crafted breakbeats to a variety of unusual instruments, including trumpet, classical guitar, keys, trumbone, didgeridoo and the Swiss Alphorn.
His live solo show fuses music with visual art through thoughtfully crafted video projections to deliver a soulful experience that is surprisingly inventive and yet universally appealing with its vision of positivity and love.”
